Indian 2, Shankar’s big budget movie with Kamal Haasan, will begin production when both the director and actor complete their pending films, reports The News Minute. Shankar, who is busy with 2.0 at the moment, is expected to wrap up shoot by the end of this year. Kamal Haasan, who recently revealed his political ambitions, has Sabhash Naidu, a spin-off on the Dasavatharam character Balran Naidu, to finish. He is said to begin the project in January next year. Before that, the actor is expected to complete Viswaroopam 2, now that his contract with the Vijay TV reality show, Big Boss is over.
Kamal Haasan and Shankar’s second collaboration after Indian (1996) was announced last weekend at the finale of Big Boss. AR Rahman is rumoured to compose music for the project, with Dil Raju bankrolling it.
