Indrajith, starring Gautham Karthik, which has been in the making for almost three years now is finally set to release on November 24. The trailer, which was released a few days ago, promises a fantasy film.

Talking about the film, director Kalaaprabhu says, “ It is an adventurous fantasy film based on a treasure hunt. Gautham plays Indrajith, an assistant to an archaeology professor and he travels to the forests of Kerala in search of a treasure, which is definitely not gold or any valuable stone. It’s going to be a surprise.”
The film’s production began in 2014 and it took nearly three years to complete. The director says, “We have shot the film in different locations in different climate. As the script demanded such climatic conditions, we had to wait for a long time for the shoot. Also, the CG work in the film took some time. For instance, there will be a three-minute shot in the film and the CG work for it took nearly 15 months to complete.”
The film, bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu, has Ashrita Shetty as the female lead and Prathap Pothan, Sachin Khedekar and Sudanshu Pandey in supporting roles.
