The shooting of director Karthik Subbaraj’s third feature film Iraivi has been wrapped up. According to sources, Karthik Subbaraj is now busy with the post-production work of the film. The team might unveil the first look of Iraivi on November 11, on the occasion of Deepavali. Also, it is said that the team is planning to release the movie sometime in December.
Actor Karunakaran, who plays an integral role in the movie, stated, ” I don’t think I can categorize Iraivi into a single genre, but I am sure that the movie would emphasize on women empowerment.”
Iraivi’s star cast includes Bobby Simha, Vijay Sethupathi, SJ Suryah, Anjali, Kamalini Mukherjee and Pooja Deavariyain the lead roles. Jointly produced by CV Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment and KE Gnanavelraja’s Studio Green, Iraivi has cinematography by Sivakumar Vijayan and editing by Vivek Harshan.
