After the RK Nagar bypolls debacle, Vishal’s political career took a back seat. However, at the Irumbu Thirai audio launch on Saturday, the actor said that he’s already a politician as he believed that doing good deeds for people makes him one.
Apart from playing the lead, Vishal is also producing this movie under the banner of his own production company Vishal Film Factory (VFF). It is directed by debutant P.S Mithran.
Vishal said, “People around me keep asking me about my entry into Tamil Nadu politics, I tell them I have already made my entry. Every act that I do as a dutiful person of the society makes me a politician in my own terms.”

Jaguar Thangam, secretary of Film and Television Producers Guild of South India, who was at the event brought up the issue of piracy. “Vishal took care of the issue of movie piracy in Tamil Nadu and the state needs more people like him,” he said.
Veteran actor Rajkumar attended the function and released the audio.
Vishal will be seen with Samantha Akkineni for the first time in this movie. The music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film is set for a March release.
