Jackson Durai, a Tamil comedy-horror, is scheduled to release on July 1, say sources. Jackson Durai starring Satyaraj, Sibiraj and Bindhu Madhavi in the lead roles, is directed by Dharanidharan who made his debut in 2014 with Burma.

Jackson Durai is a periodical movie set in the 1940s. Actor Sathyaraj appears as a ghost in the movie. Initially sceptical of his role in the movie as it clashed with his personal beliefs, Sathyaraj was convinced by the director when he read him the script. Sibiraj plays the role of a cop named Sathya. Music Director Siddharth Vipin has given the background score for the film.
