Sai Dharam Tej’s Jawaan is all set to release this August, with the shooting nearing completion. The film has Tej essaying the role of a patriot, with actress Mehreen Kaur Pirzada playing the female lead.
Having recently completed the shooting of two songs in Italy, the team will soon move to Hyderabad to shoot the action sequences. Apart from Tej, Tamil actor Prasanna plays a negative role in the film.
The film’s first look was tweeted on June 21.

Directed by BVS Ravi, Jawaan is being bankrolled by Arunachal Creations Banner. Presented by producer Dil Raju, the film has music by SS Thaman.
Early this year, Tej starred in Winner with Rakul Preet Singh. The film didn’t fare too well at the box office. He also wrapped up the shoot of his next film Nakshatram, helmed by Krishna Vamsi. The film also stars Regina Cassandra, Sundeep Kishan, and Pragya Jaiswal.
