Kajal Aggarwal was the recipient of unwanted attention at a promotional event for Kavacham last month. The actor was speaking at the event when she was kissed by the film’s cinematographer Chota K Naidu. Aggarwal spoke about the incident in a recent interview.
She said that Naidu apologised for his actions shortly after they left the stage. “He apologised to me for his behaviour. He said that he did not act like that out of bad intentions. Since I’ve known him for a long time, I did not think badly about it. Even I was shocked when it happened. But I accepted his apology,” she said.
Chota K Naidu was criticised heavily on social media for kissing Kajal Aggarwal. He later said that his actions were motivated by the things Kajal was speaking about at the time.
Naidu said that his kiss was a token of his admiration for Kajal. According to a report in the Deccan Chronicle,
