Kalidas, son of actor Jayaram, makes his debut in Tamil as a hero with Oru Pakka Kathai. Directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan, the film is a family drama and was launched by Kamal Haasan recently. This is not Kalidas’ first time in front of the camera by any means. The youngster was part of the critically-acclaimed and award-winning Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal (2000)and Ente Veedu Appuvintem (2003), and even won the National and State Award for Best Child Artiste for EVA.
Vasan Visual Ventures has signed on to produce the flick and we hear that the shooting will begin soon. The casting and other details will be announced shortly by the film’s PR team. A small pooja will also be conducted to begin shoot.
