Kamal Haasan and Shahrukh Khan have been invited to the first look launch of Rajinikanth’s science-fiction thriller 2.0. According to an IANS source, “Invitations have been sent to both Kamal sir and Shah Rukhji, and even arrangements have been made for their hospitality. However, they are yet to confirm their presence, and hence, an official announcement is still pending.”

Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth have a long standing friendship spanning decades, while Shah Rukh Khan often attends Rajinikanth’s film functions and has frequently praised him publicly. Moreover, Lyca productions, who are bankrolling 2.0 will also be producing Kamal Haasan’s trilingual Sabash Naidu in association with Raajkamal films.
The event is scheduled to take place at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai on Sunday and will feature several celebrity performances. The entire cast, including Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, will be attending the event. Bollywood director Karan Johar will be hosting the hour-long event.
The film is a sequel to the highly successful Endhiran (2010). 2.0 is directed by Shankar and has music by AR Rahman. The film also stars Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain, and Kalabhavan Shajon.
