Actor Kamal Haasan’s upcoming Uttama Villain will see him playing the character of cinema superstar Manoranjan who will be acting in a movie called Veera Vilayaattu.
According to sources, “Kamal sir as Manoranjan will bring out the actions behind the screen to the audience. The posters of Manoranjan in Veera Vilayaattu have been put up all over Bangalore to promote the film.”
What is more is that many aspects of the character Manoranjan’s life are taken from Kamal Hassan’s real life. For instance, K Balachander will be seen mentoring Manoranjan reprising what he did for Kamal in real life. Further, Urvashi will play Manoranjan’s wife and veteran director K Viswanath plays Manoranjan’s father-in-law. Andrea Jeremiah will play Manoranjan’s love interest.
Ramesh Arvind is directing Uttama Villain and it is being produced by N Subash Chandra Bose with G R Venkatesh as co-producer. The story and screenplay are by Kamal Haasan and music is by Ghibran.
