Amid all the politicking, Kamal Haasan announced a new project with actor Vikram. The film will be produced under the banner of Raajkamal Films and will be directed by Rajesh M Selva. Akshara Haasan will also play a pivotal role in the film.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is set to start his political tour from February 21. The actor, in an official press release, had said that he is embarking on the tour to understand what the people of the state need and what their aspirations and afflictions are. He further highlighted that this is being planned in ‘phases’, and that there will be many tours in the future. He also announced the name of his party during his tour.
