It’s not for a film, but for an advertisement that Bollywood director Karan Johar and Deepika Padukone have teamed up. The director of Student of the Year 2, Punit Malhotra has posted pictures of the three of them on social media.

Karan Johar also posted a selfie with the actress. The director who is coming back with a new season of Koffee With Karan in September, might also have Deepika on the show. Rumours are floating that the show might open with newly married Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli.
Deepika has worked with Dharma Productions in the past in Ayan Mukerji’s directorial Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
On the work front, Deepika will be seen in a film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, also starring Irrfan Khan. The story is based on the critically acclaimed book ‘Mafia Queens Of Mumbai’ written by Hussain Zaidi. The film will see Deepika as a female gangster from Mumbai. The work on the film has been put on hold due to Irrfan Khan’s health.
