Actor Karthi is busy juggling his time between the Tamil film Kashmora and a yet-untitled Tamil-Telugu bilingual with Nagarjuna. The actor has joined the sets of his Telugu movie – a PVP Cinema production – for its second schedule.

The team has now started working on the second schedule in Hyderabad. Said to be the remake of French drama The Intouchables, the film features Nagarjuna in the role of a patient and Karthi as his caretaker. A substantial part of the movie will be shot abroad. Karthi, who has so far used voice actors to dub for him in Telugu, will for the first time prepare and render dialogues in Telugu.
Shruti Haasan was originally cast as the heroine but she was later replaced by Tamannah Bhatia. Contrary to the recent rumours, Anushka is not playing a cameo in the film, which is being directed by Vamsi Paidapally.
