Silverscreen had earlier reported that the project is on hold as the shoot, which commenced during the first week of July, did not proceed after 10 days. The source adds: “Prabhu Deva, Karthi and Vishal shot for just 10 days in Chennai for the film. The month-long schedule was cancelled in the middle of the shoot. Karthi and Vishal got busy with their prior commitments. Now, the makers are looking for their replacement. While Jayam Ravi in talks for one of the roles, the makers are yet to decide an actor for the other lead.  Considering Jayam Ravi’s equation with Prabhu Deva – he has worked with him earlier, and also been part of Bogan, with the same makers – he is likely to get on board.”

KRVR is jaintly produced by Ishari Ganesh and Prabhu  Deva. The film has music by Harris Jeyaraj, and Sayyeshaa is the female lead.

Karthi is currently wrapping up work on Theeran Adhigaram Ondru, directed by Vinoth, and is likely to take up director Pandiraj’s film next. Vishal  has Villain and Irumbu Thirai to complete.
