Actor Karunakaran, who wowed audiences with his performance in the summer blockbuster Yaamirukka Bayamey, will now act with Rajinikanth in Lingaa. The star has been roped in for a ‘pivotal role’ in the movie and has already set aside twenty days for the filming. The former software professional sheepishly admits to seeing Rajinikanth only from afar and considers the opportunity to work with him a ‘blessing’.
Karunakaran was introduced by director Karthik Subbaraj in Pizza which went on to become a super hit movie. His first major role was in Nalan Kumarasamy’s Soodhu Kavvum where he played Arumaipragasam, the wily son of a politician.
