Taking some time off from the promotions of her next release Jagga Jasoos, Katri Kaif headed to Malta recently for the shoot of her upcoming film Thugs of Hindostan, starring Aamir Khan. Reportedly, the actress plays a warrior princess in this film, which also has Amitabh Bachchan as part of the cast.

According to a report in Mid Day, “As she essays a desi warrior princess, she will have a few sword-fighting action scenes, too. A nose ring, wild wavy hairstyle, smokey eyes and costumes in earthly clours–this will be Katrina’s look in the film.”
When the film was announced, there were rumours that Katrina would just put in a cameo; now, it is clear she has a major role to play.
This film is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and it is scheduled for a 2018 Diwali release.
