A motivational single track from Bobby Sinha and Nikki Galrani’s upcoming film Ko 2, ‘Unnai Maatrinaal’ composed by Leon James, will reportedly be released on August 15 as a tribute to the late Dr Abdul Kalam. According to sources, the team had planned to write a song inspired by Abdul Kalam’s words well before his demise. Director Sarath said that the song’s composition at this time was a coincidence, and the team was sad that Dr Abdul Kalam did not live to hear the song.
‘Unnai Maatrinaal’ will be Ko 2’s titular song, and will also frame the background score of the film. It has been sung by singer Harish Sivaramakrishnan from the Agam band.
Ko2 stars Bobby Simha and Nikki Galrani in the lead, along with Prakash Raj in a supporting role. The team has reportedly moved to the final schedule and is on course to wrap up the shoot shortly.
