Lawrence Raghavendra Builds a Shrine for His Mother

Recommended

Lawrence Raghavendra will soon build a shrine for his mother Kanmani. The construction work will begin on his birthday (October 29), and the shrine will be built in Mevalurkuppam (located near his father’s native place, Poovirundhavalli).

In an official statement, Lawrence said, “If my mother hadn’t been there to help me, I wouldn’t be alive now. I consider her my God. And it’s only natural to build a temple for her. I dedicate this temple to all mothers.”

Lawrence is in the process of writing a book on his mother, and her struggles to raise him. He plans to release the book on his next birthday, when the shrine will be opened.
