Looks like Rajinikanth’s upcoming mega budget movie with KS Ravikumar will be titled Lingaa. A source close to the team confirmed this news and even revealed some exciting information about the project. Apparently, director Ponkumaran of Charulatha fame has been signed on to write the screenplay and dialogue for the movie. While Anirudh Ravichander’s name was being bandied about as the music director, we can now confirm that Oscar winner AR Rahman will be scoring music.
Starring Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty, Lingaa, produced by Rockline Venkatesh, is reported to feature the superstar in dual roles. Sonakshi will play the retro girlfriend while Anushka stars as the present day love interest.
