Actor Rajinikanth’s Lingaa which has been progressing at a brisk pace, will now take a small break before resuming shoot. The film’s crew completed a schedule in Hyderabad and returned to Chennai a few days ago. There were rumours that the shooting is now taking place in Shimoga and that a Shiva statue and a dam are being built for the shoot. But a source close to the unit dismissed the rumours and confirmed that the Lingaa team has taken a quick one week break. “Now that we have completed the shoot in Hyderabad, we are still taking some time to decide on our next schedule,” said the source.
Lingaa, one of the most anticipated films of this year, is directed by KS Ravikumar and produced by Rockline Venkatesh. Anushka Shetty pairs opposite Rajinikanth and Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha makes her Tamil debut with Lingaa. The film is aiming for a release on December 12th for Rajinikanth’s birthday, this year.
