Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Thalapathy 64’ Is Now ‘Master’ : First Look Out Now

Actors Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi and Malavika Mohanan starrer Thalapathy 64 has now been titled Master. The makers have also released the first look poster of the lead actor from the film. Helmed by Kaithi fame director Lokesh Kanagaraj under Xavier Britto’s XB Film Creators banner, the action flick has Vijay reportedly playing a professor. The commercial film will see the actor in a new avatar, as compared to his other flicks.

The first look poster features a trippy image of actor Vijay looking right into the camera. As always, his sharp eyes do the talking.

The makers took to Twitter to release the first-look.

The team completed the second schedule at Shimoga, Karnataka yesterday and will commence with the next schedule in the first week of January 2020. As reported earlier, Vijay had completed shooting his portion on the sets in Shimoga a little earlier in order to spend time with his family while the rest of the crew shot till the end of the month without the actor.

Recently, the makers officially announced that Andrea Jeremiah is a part of the film, wishing the actor on her birthday. Actors NasserRajeshKaithi fame Dheena and Mahanadi Shankar had also reportedly joined the sets of the second schedule in Shimoga. A few days back, actor Sathish K and Lallu had confirmed that they were also a part of the film.

Apart from them, the film hosts talents like 96 fame Gouri G Kishan, VJ Ramya, Antony Varghese, Arjun Das, Praveen Kumar, Nagendra Prasad, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, Lintu Rony, Mathew Varghese, Sunil Reddy, SrinathPrem KumarSoundarya NandakumarChetanAzhagam Perumal, Brigida Saga, Sanjeev, and Sriman.

The crew was also recently found filming a song with the actor, choreographed by dance master Sathish. Malavika Mohanan, Ramesh Thilak, Sai Dheena, Shanthnu, Arjun Das, Prem Kumar, Srinath, Nagendra Prasad, and Sanjeev Venkat were also spotted at the sets.

On the technical front, Sathyan Sooryan is handling cinematography, Anirudh is composing music and Philomin Raj is on the edit. Aadai fame director Rathna Kumar has been brought on board to pen the additional screenplay and Stunt Silva for the action sequences. Dinesh Kumar has choreographed the opening song of the film.

Sun Pictures have bagged the satellite rights of the untitled film for a whopping price.

Master will hit screens in Summer 2020.
