The buzz around tinsel town today is that ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam and Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu will be coming together in a new film. According to sources, the movie is supposed to be a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu and is expected to commence soon. After the tepid response to the much hyped Telugu flick “1:  Nenokkadine” at the box office, the actor has apparently decided to re-invent himself with this collaboration. The movie is supposed to be a suspense-thriller and is to be completed by late 2014. Hopefully the film will be able to give the much needed box office break that both are looking for!

Sources say the ace filmmaker is now toying with three projects including the period film ‘Lajjo.’ Malayalam actor, and director Fasil’s son–Fahadh Faasil too reportedly have been approached for this bilingual. Now that the ‘Prince’ of Telugu cinema has given the nod, the other projects have been pushed to later dates.
