Mahesh Babu, despite his nationwide popularity, is one of the few top-league Telugu actors yet to set foot in Bollywood.

In a recent chat with Silverscreen, he said he would love to work in Hindi films, provided he gets good offers: “So far nothing exciting has come my way. Hence, there are no immediate plans to work in Bollywood.” Mahesh is currently busy promoting his next film Srimanthudu, which releases worldwide on August 7.
The film marks Mahesh’s debut as a producer. This will allow greater creative expression in the film’s production: “In order to give ourselves a free hand in terms of the scale of the film and not to compromise on quality during the making, I decided to start a production house.” Mahesh will turn 40 on August 9 ,and plans to fly to London with his family for a short holiday. Upon his return, he will start shooting for Brahmotasavam.
