Mani Ratnam’s next film, which reportedly went on floors a few days ago, would be wrapped up by December. According to Firstpost, the movie will be made on a shoe-string budget of Rs 6 crores and will hit theatres by early 2015. The flick features Dulquer Salman and Nithya Menen in the lead, while actor Prakash Raj dons an integral role.
After 14 years, Mani Ratnam has teamed up with cinematographer PC Sreeram again. AR Rahman might compose music and the musician confirmed that his son AR Ameen will lend his voice for a song. The bilingual, which is set in Mumbai and Chennai, is touted to be an urban romantic story.
