Fresh from the success of her Kollywood debut with the Simbu starer Acham Yenbathu Madamiyada, Manjima Mohan seems to have a jampacked year ahead. The 23-year-old actress has signed her next with director Murugandandham which will star Vishnu Vishal in the lead. The film will be bankrolled by Dusshyanth Sivaji under his banner Eeshan Productions.
Manjima spoke to DC and said, “Muruganandham approached me with the script a couple of weeks ago. I heard the whole script and not just my part. What I liked the most about the story is how colourful and light-hearted the subject is.”
The Oru Vadakkan Selfie actress also added how her role is quite similar to the one she essayed in Gautham Menon’s AYM. “I would say it is closer to Leela from AYM, but leans a little towards the chirpier side,” she said. The actress will also be seen opposite Vikram Prabhu in Sathriyan.
Manjima is excited about being busy and having a handful of projects in her kitty. “Even if I get to rest for a couple days, I start feeling restless. I love working 24/7! Apart from these films, I am also listening to a few interesting scripts,” she said.
