Manjima Mohan will essay an important role in an upcoming film that also has actors Jiiva and Arulnithi. The movie focusses on modern day relationships with a particular emphasis on how friendship has changed to suit the millennium, says a spokesperson for the film.
“It’s not a buddy comedy per se since there’s a lot of everything in this film. But the focus remains on friendship because it has become such an integral part of everybody’s lives. That’s what this film is about as well,” he said.
Rajasekaran helms this film that is produced by RB Chowdhary through his Super Good Films.
The producer says that the film’s main aim is to entertain the audience, though it has an important message to share as well. “I am very particular about selecting content that has wide appeal as well as address societal concerns. This is very important to me and thats the kind of movies my company tends to produce, as you can see. Super Good has a certain reputation and standard and this new film fulfils all those requirements. That’s why I signed Rajasekaran on,” he said.
As to Manjima and Arulnithi’s presence in the project, he said: “This is the first time I’m working with both of them. Arulnithi is from an illustrious family. Manjima is a rising talent. It’s very nice to have them onboard.”
