Director Arivazhagan, whose next is a women-centric project that might feature Manju Warrier, has said that the highlight of his film would be its ‘realistic approach and emotional take on life’. In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, the director, who had helmed this year’s Kuttram 23, explained: “Like in my earlier films, people would be able to relate to the story.”
Calling his movie a ‘subtle thriller’ with a female protagonist in the lead, Arivazhagan said that the role would be that of a ‘bold and strong lady’. “There are very few artistes who are capable of pulling off such characters. I have watched most of Manju Warrier’s films in Malayalam, and I felt that she has the capability to do justice to my script,” he added.

Arivazhagan also revealed that Manju’s response to the script was positive. “She was totally convinced with my narration, and said that she has lot of confidence in me and on my script as well.”
Thaman will score the music for this project while Bhaskaran, who had worked on Arivazhagan’s earlier films, will handle the camera.
Details of other cast and crew will be announced when Manju Warrier confirms her dates.
The movie is expected to go on floors by the end of the year.
