Audio of director Venkat Prbhu’s upcoming film Masss is being launched today in a suprisingly low key affair. The songs are being released one by one in FM stations across the city spaced out between 9AM to 5PM with a gap of 2 hours. Sources say that the Masss team is busy with the post production work while actor Suriya is busy shooting for his film 24 with director Vikram Kumar, which explains the absence of a usual audio launch.
When we heard that the audio of Masss will be unveiled on May 8, a grand audio launch was expected to be held. But, the Masss team decided to go down the unique pathway of releasing it one by one.
It is also known that music director Yuvan Shankar Raja was working day and night for the movie. Actor Suriya who plays the lead role along with actress Nayanthara acknowledged the same and added that ‘Piravi’ song is his favorite pick from the album.
- Therikkuthu Mass was released at 9AM on Suriyan FM – This song was released by actor STR and starts off with a catchy music with Shankar Mahadevan and Ranith’s voice. Lyricist Madhan Karky stated that this is a mass number will be an introduction to the world of Masss.
