This year’s Christmas releases – Meagamann and Kayal – have been censored. While Kayal has been awarded U, Meagamann has got U/A.
Directed by Prabhu Solomon, Kayal has Chandran and Anandhi playing the lead. Imman has composed music and the flick is produced by Madan of Escape Artist Motion Picture. Kayal is inspired by the 2004 Tsunami tragedy.
Magizh Thirumeni of Thadaiyara Thaakka fame directs Meagamann. Arya and Hansika team up again after Settai while Thaman composes music.
