A four-page suicide note, allegedly written by producer S Madhan of Vendhar Movies, has been found. The producer has been missing since Sunday morning. According to sources, Madhan’s wife believes that the issue is a setup. Meanwhile, producer T Siva, along with some of Madhan’s relatives, have left Chennai to look for Madhan. According to the note, Madhan intended to leave for Kashi to attain ‘Jeeva Samadhi’.
The letter further states that he had no wishes or regrets in his life. There are several references to Paarivendhar, the owner of Vendhar Movies, the SRM educational institutions, the Pudhiya Thalaimurai news channel, and the founder of India Jananayaga Katchi (IJK), a political party. Madhan is distantly related to Paarivendhar.
The letter also states that those who had given Madhan money in exchange for admission into the SRM University should not panic, as their money was safe. Further, that Madhan had worked hard solely for the welfare of Vendhar, and to succeed in all his endeavours. The letter also mentions the alleged rift between Madhan and Vendhar, caused by the Vendhar’s family members disapproval of Vendhar’s trust in Madhan. Madhan was allegedly sidelined during the elections, where he was not a part of any of IJK’s campaigns. The letter states that all this drove him to such a decision.
