Monal Gajjar will have an extended cameo in VIP 2, the sequel of the hit film Velayilla Pattathari.
Monal has already begun filming for her role. The film’s spokesperson has confirmed with Silverscreen that her role will be along the lines of actress Surabhi’s in the first film. Surabhi had played a patient with lung cancer who gets Dhanush’s mother (Saranya Ponvannan)’s lungs after she unexpectedly dies.
According to a source, Monal’s character will be an assistant to Kajol’s character. Kajol plays a grey-shaded corporate executive, according to reports.
