Raghava Lawrence’s Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva might not hit theatres on March 9. The movie has been postponed yet again as Arasu Films has obtained an interim stay order stalling its release.
According to Arasu Films, the film’s distribution rights were promised to them for Rs 13 crores by S Madhan of Vendhar Movies. A sum of Rs 2 Crores was paid as advance on March last year.
A month later, the YouTube promo of the film had Sivabalan films as the distributor.
When contacted, Madhan is said to have promised to resolve the issue.
Shortly after this, Madhan went on the run. Six months later, he was found by the Police and is currently in prison.
