Actor Akkineni Nagarjuna will start shooting for the third season of Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu, the Telugu version of the popular Hindi show Kaun Banega Crorepati, from October. While the exact dates are still being worked out, he will be shoot 60 episodes for this season. Nagarjuna told Silverscreen that he considers the opportunity to host the show a life-altering one, because it enables him to touch so many people’s hearts.

Before he begins work on this project, Nagarjuna plans to complete shooting for his two upcoming Telugu films, Soggade Chinni Nayana and a bilingual with Karthi. Nagarjuna also plans to collaborate for the third time with veteran filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao for a devotional drama, along the lines of Annamayya and Shirdi Sai.
Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu first went on air on June 9, 2014 with Nagarjuna as the host. The show has featured guest appearances by a number of celebrities including Vidya Balan, Shriya Saran, Allari Naresh, Naga Chaitanya, Lakshmi Manchu, Kajal Aggarwal, and Chiranjeevi. Kaun Banega Crorepati was itself a remake of the UK game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, and was first aired in 2000, hosted by legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan.
