Nalan Kumarasamy’s second film in a row with Vijay Sethupathi has been titled Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum. The film had earlier been informally titled ‘Eskimo Kadhal’, and is an official remake of a Korean film. The plot revolves around a love story. Kumarasamy’s first project with Sethupathi was also his debut directorial, the highly successful Soodhu Kavvum. Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum has been in production since early 2015.
Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum will also be actress Madonna Sebastian’s debut Kollywood film. Madonna Sebastian was one of the three female leads in the Malayalam film Premam. Jointly produced by CV Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment and Studio Green KE Gnanavel Raja, Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum has music scored by Santhosh Narayanan.
