The shooting for upcoming Telugu film Tuck Jagadish has resumed, actor Nani announced on social media on Thursday.
The actor posted on Twitter a picture of himself and captioned it: “Jagadish joins. Tuck begins. #TuckJagadish.”
In the picture, taken during an evening shoot, Nani is seen holding a mask. Large floodlights can be spotted in the far distance.
While the film was initially slated to release in summer 2020, shooting was halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Shooting in locations such as Pollachi in Tamil Nadu has been nearly completed. The title poster of the film was released last December.
Nani also has another upcoming project- Shyam Singha Roy– directed by Rahul Sankrityan. The title of the film was revealed on the actor’s birthday in February, and was initially slated for a December release.
The cast of Tuck Jagadish includes Aishwarya Rajesh, Ritu Varma and Jagapathi Babu. The film, being directed by Shiva Nirvana, is being bankrolled under the Shines Screens banner headed by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi. Music has been composed by SS Thaman. Tuck Jagadish marks Nani’s second collaboration with Shiva Nirvana after Ninnu Kori, starring Nivetha Thomas and Aadhi Pinisetty.
The film also marks Varma’s comeback in the Telugu industry after seven years. She was earlier seen in a supporting role in 2013 film Yevade Subramanyam, also starring Nani and directed by Nag Ashwin.
Meanwhile, both Aishwarya and Varma will appear in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram. Aishwarya was last seen in Ka Pae Ranasingam along with Vijay Sethupathi, which was released on ZeePlex last week on a pay-per-view model.
