Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited actor Kamal Haasan and several other stars from the film industry to join the Clean India campaign.

Also invited were industrialist Anil Ambani, actress Priyanka Chopra and actor Salman Khan. The initiative is a part of the PM’s newly announced Swach Bharat Mission, through which he plans to ‘integrate 125 crore Indians to create a Clean India’. Ever since it was announced, the mission has become an internet sensation with ‘My Clean India’ trending on all social media sites.
