Abi Hassan, actor Nasser’s son, will make his acting debut with Vikram’s upcoming movie Kadaram Kondan. Directed by Rajesh M Selva, the movie is an action thriller set in Malaysia, and will see the actor paired opposite Akshara Haasan.
Kamal Haasan, who produces the movies under his banner Raj Kamal Films International, said that he was proud to introduce the actor through his production.
We at @RKFI are proud to launch my friend @actornasser’s son @AbiHassan_ in our production #kadaramkondan. I wish him all the success that would enable him to create his own legacy.

The shoot for the movie recently wrapped up. The team is reportedly left with one song and some patchwork before they can finish the film. In November, the team had finished a month-long schedule in Malaysia. They also had a gala dinner to celebrate the completion of their last two schedules in Malaysia and Chennai.
Major shoot schedule of #KadaramKondan is over & our crew had one amazing dinner night to celebrate schedule wrap. We are left with just one more song and a few patch works. ?#ChiyaanVikram #KKTeaserFromJan15@ikamalhaasan @tridentarts @SoundharyaRavi1#SrinivasReddy @muzik247 pic.twitter.com/mcnx4GxaNS

Kadaram Kondan is directed by Rajesh M Selva, who earlier directed the Kamal Haasan-Trisha starrer Thoongavanam. Though there were reports about the movie being a remake of the 2016 Hollywood film Don’t Breathe starring Stephen Lang, the actor was quick to deny them.
The posters of the movie feature a silhouette of the Petronas Twin Towers, and the word Kadaram in the title, representing a region in Malaysia that was previously ruled by a Chola king. The repeated shots of Malaysia hint that the country may have a substantial role in the plot.
Music for the movie has been composed by Ghibran. Kadaram Kondan is expected to release in April.
