Actor Nasser, who has been actively participating in many social causes, has now become the brand ambassador for UNICEF. Nasser will work with the organisation to create awareness on problems relating to open defecation. “I’m so glad that UNICEF has made me their brand ambassador. They also gave me a certificate. But with this honour, I realise that I now have a great responsibility on my shoulders,” he said. Although Nasser couldn’t spend more time with the UNICEF officials yesterday, the actor revealed that he will soon be taken through a roadmap of activities planned for the welfare of women and children. “We will emphasize the importance of building more toilets to curb open defecation. I am honoured to be associated with UNICEF as I going to use my popularity for a noble cause,” he added.
