The audio of Nee Naan Nizhal was launched on Monday. Directed by debutant John Robinson, a former associate of filmmaker Adhiyaman, the movie is a romantic thriller. It follows the life of a youngster who goes to Malaysia in search of a girl that he met on Facebook. “The film has got a social message. Many of us use social media without understanding the dangers involved in it. Every parent who has a daughter should watch this film,” said director John Robinson. The filmmakers plan a free showing of the movie for students.

Malayalam actor Arjun Lal and newcomer Ishita don the lead roles, while actor Sarath Kumar plays a police officer in the film. Manoj K Jain, Black Pandi, and MS Bhaskar form the supporting cast. Nee Naan Nizhal will also be released in Malayalam as Asha Black.
The movie is produced by Bindu John Varghese and Arjun Lal, who played Mohanlal’s son in the critically acclaimed Malayalam film Thanmathra. Most of Nee Naan Nizhal was shot in Malaysia.
