Television anchor-turned-actor Niharika Konidela, who is a relative of actor Chiranjeevi, is on a signing spree. After signing on the dotted lines for a project with director Rama Raju, she has reportedly given her nod for a Tamil-Telugu bilingual project with director Ayodhya Kumar, known for his critically-acclaimed directorial debut Minugurulu.
“Niharika heard the script with her father Naga Babu, and apparently, both of them liked it. While it is now known what the genre of the film is, it is learnt that Niharika will have a very prominent role. This project will mark her Tamil debut as well,” a source said. Although she’s expected to start working on the film with Rama Raju first, her project with Ayodhya Kumar will also roll soon.
