KFC Entertainments, distributors in Tollywood, are all set to turn producers with a period film. After being associated with cinema for a while now, the distributors of films like Arjun Reddy and Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, are venturing into production.

Producer Prithvi Pinnamaraju will make his foray into the arena with an upcoming film starring Nithya Menen, Satyadev Kancharana and Rahul Ramakrishna in lead roles. Set in 1979, the film revolves around the first space station of the US launched by NASA, the Skylab. Nithya Menen also acted in the recent space film Mission Mangal. This film will be produced on the BYTE Features banner and will be presented by Dr K Ravi Kirane.
The film will be directed by Vishvak Khanderao. He will also write the screenplay and dialogues. The DOP will be Aditya Javvadi, editor – Raviteja Girijala. The film will feature music by Prashant R Vihari and sound design by Nagarjuna Thallapalli and Dhanush Nayanar.
In an interview to the Deccan Chronicle, debutant Vishvak said the film is “a slice of a life drama that will be high on comedy and emotions…”
More details about the film are expected to be announced soon. Shooting will reportedly begin in a village in Telangana soon.
