According to the report, once the test results came back positive for the four members, the film’s makers decided to isolate everyone immediately. They also sent the entire team back home soon after.

The shooting schedule will now recommence on November 27, post the mandatory two-week quarantine for everyone, and the film is expected to be completed by December 12.

Earlier, the film’s production had stalled when Bharuccha sprained her leg in October while filming a Holi song sequence.

Apart from her, Janhit Mein Jaari also stars Anud Dhaka, Annu Kapoor, and Paritosh Tripathi in pivotal roles. Written by Raaj Shandilyaa and directed by debutant Jai Bantu Singh, the “quirky” film is produced by Bhanushali Studios Limited and Think Ink Picturez in association with Shree Raghav Entertainment LLP.

Apart from this film, Bharuccha also has Chhorii, a horror film directed by Vishal Furia, in the pipeline. Jointly produced by Crypt TV, Abundantia, and T-series, Chhorii also stars Mita Vashisht, Rajesh Jais, and Saurabh Goyal. This is the first Indian production for Crypt TV, an American entertainment company that focuses on developing, producing, and distributing horror-themed digital content, which was founded by Jack Davis and Eli Roth and is backed by Blumhouse.

Bharuccha also has Ram Setu coming up with Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez. Billed as an action-adventure, the film revolves around the mythical bridge that the Hindu god Ram is said to have built between India and Sri Lanka to rescue his wife Sita from the demon god Ravan. Ram Setu, the first production venture of Amazon Prime Video, will get a theatrical release before streaming on the OTT platform.
