Real-life uncle and nephew, Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya will team up for director Bobby’s film. Rakul Preet Singh is the female lead of this project that is produced jointly by Suresh Productions and People Media Factory. The film was officially launched in Hyderabad today.

According to a spokesperson, though the script has been written keeping Venkatesh and Naga Chaithanya in mind, the film’s focus will be on the story and not the stars.
Venkatesh will not be seen in a lead role, the spokesperson added. “But his character is very crucial to the proceedings. A first look poster will be launched shortly.”
The spokesperson also that the film will also feature cameos from leading stars in the industry, but not necessarily Nagarjuna. “Everything is in the planning stage at this point. So, we are not sure who will play what. A detailed announcement regarding cast and crew will be out soon.”

The makers are hoping to begin filming by August this year. Plans are on to film some song sequences abroad, according to sources.
They are reportedly waiting for Rakul Preet Singh, who is currently filming her Hindi project with Ajay Devgn in London.
At present, Naga Chaitanya is looking forward to the release of his Chandoo Mondeti directed Savyasachi. He has also signed Rahul Ravindran to direct two films for his Annapurna Studios. Ravindran’s debut film Chi La Sow will be presented by Annapurna as well.
Venkatesh, on the other hand, has F2: Fun and Frustration, with actors Varun Tej, Tamannaah Bhatia. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film was launched recently. Devi Sri Prasad has been signed on to compose the music.
