Release of Julie 2, starring Lakshmi Rai, has been postponed to November 10. The film was supposed to hit the screens on October 6 before it was mired in copyright issue.

According to a report in DNA, Pahlaj Nihalani, former CBFC chief, who is presenting the film, is scared to release the film this Diwali alongside Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar. He said, “It is foolish to release film with Aamir Kahn, considering his box office records. This Diwali belongs to him.”
However, Nihalani is not apprehensive about releasing his film alongside Anurag Kashyap’s Mukkabaz on November 10. “We are not scared of Kashyap’s cinema. He has always tried to generate interest in his films by raking up censor issues. Now that I’m no more the CBFC chairperson let’s see how he generates interest in his films,” Nihalani told DNA.
