The shoot of Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikesi, starring Vadivelu, has started in Chennai. Parvathy Omanakuttan is the female lead.
Parvathy told Silverscreen, “I started shooting for the film today after an official puja. This is a promising script to work on.”
On July 8, the 11th year of Pulikesi, director Shankar announced the sequel. Bankrolled by S pictures, Pulikesi sequel is directed by Chimbudevan. Shankar released the motion poster of the film today.

A set resembling a palace, designed by art director Muthuraj, has been erected in EVP, Chennai for the film. It also has editor Vivek Harshan on board. The film is set on the same backdrop as the first part.
Vadivelu has completed shooting for his portions in Vijay’s Mersal and has a month-long schedule for this film in Chennai.
