Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan will be honoured with the Indo-European Business Forum’s (IEBF) Excellence Award during the Global Business Meet-2017 at the House of Lords in London on November 17. According to a PTI report, Kalyan is being recognised for his contribution “as an actor, politician, philanthropic and social worker.”

Also the founder of the Jana Sena Party, the 46-year-old actor will be the guest of honour at the event, the theme for which is ‘Invest in New India’.
The IEBF has also recognised his work towards patients with chronic kidney disease in Uddanam of Srikakulam district in north coastal Andhra, and also his roles as brand ambassador for handlooms, and ‘Jeevan Daan’, an organ donation programme.
Meanwhile, on the politics front, the actor has said that he would be contesting from Anantapur in Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh.
