Actress Pearle Maaney, who was recently seen in the Malayalam film Double Barrel, has been roped in as the second heroine in filmmaker B.V Nandini Reddy’s next directorial. The film, which features Naga Shaurya in the lead, will mark her debut in Telugu filmdom.
Malavika Nair, who has worked in movies such as Cuckoo and Yevade Subramanyam, plays the leading lady in this untitled romantic entertainer. Nair was chosen for the role after Nandini reportedly went through the profiles of over 400 actresses.
Pearle is expected to join the sets soon. For this project, Nandini has reunited with producer Damodar Prasad, who launched her career with Ala Modalaindi.
