Pisaasu has been censored with U/A and is scheduled for a December 19 release. A source close to the project told us that certain scenes were deemed ‘too disturbing’ for unrestricted viewing. The film’s director Mysskin was informed that Pisaasu will be granted a U certificate if those scenes were cut. As Mysskin was reluctant to do so, the team decided to stick with U/A and not appeal again.
The film marks the debut of Naga and Prayaga, and also the composing debut of Arol Kuroli. Thenandal Films will distribute the movie.
