Politician and founder of Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) Dr S Ramadoss has criticised the first look poster of the film Ayogya starring Vishal Krishna in the lead.
Ramadoss said in his tweet: “The first look posters featuring actor Vishal holding beer bottles should be withdrawn immediately. What is the actor trying to tell his fans through this poster? I expect some social responsibility from the Secretary of Nadigar Sangam. I had written to him about banning scenes that show smoking, but now, I see him holding beer bottles.”

The first look poster, which was unveiled on Monday, features actor Vishal sitting atop a police jeep holding a beer bottle.

Produced by Light House Movie Makers in association with B Madhu Productions, the film has Raashi Khanna playing the female lead, and R Parthiepan, KS Ravikumar, Sachu, Vamsi and Pooja in pivotal roles. Sam CS is composing music for this film with cinematography by R Karthik. Ruben is in charge of editing, and Ram Lakshman choreographs the stunts. Ayogya is Vishal’s 26th film as an actor.
A spokesperson for Ayogya told Silverscreen: “The film is a commercial cop thriller which will focus on child sexual harassment. Fifty percent of the shoot is complete and the movie is expected to release in the month of January or February.”
Ayogya was earlier scheduled to release during Pongal 2019, alongside Ajith’s Viswasam. Directed by debutant Venkat Mohan, a former assistant of AR Murugadoss, it is a remake of the Tollywood film Temper – an action drama written by Vakkantham Vamsi and directed by Puri Jagannadh, with Junior NTR and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. Ranveer Singh is starring in the Hindi remake of the film.
Other films of Vishal include the much delayed Madha Gaja Raja directed by Sundar C, starring Anjali and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as the female leads.
