Actress Pooja Kumar, who was last seen in Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain, will play an important role in director Vasanth’s upcoming film titled Sivaranjaniyum Innum Sila Pengalum. According to a Times of India report, the US-based actress is learning Tamil as she feels it would open more opportunities in Kollywood.

As we had reported earlier, Sivaranjaniyum Innum Sila Pengalum is a women-centric movie. The project was announced back in January.
Reportedly, the film will have Parvathy Menon, Padmapriya and Karunakaran playing the lead roles. Popular Carnatic Singer Sudha Raghunathan will be dubuting as a music director through this film.
Director Vasanth’s previous works include Saththam Podadhey and Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal. He was also seen in a brief role in Aishwarya Dhanush’s Vai Raja Vai.
